Become a Health Center Advocate
PACHC is working diligently to inform legislators, staff, and others about the crucial role health centers play as primary care providers for uninsured and medically underserved residents of Pennsylvania. They are getting the message from PACHC, but legislators also want to hear from their constituents. Why? Because you elect them to office. YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVOCATES FOR HEALTH CENTERS. Nothing we can say or do matters as much as what you have to say to your elected officials.
When it comes to advocacy, there is power in numbers and as health centers, we have numbers. We have more than 200 health center locations with 600,000 health center users in Pennsylvania – and we are still growing. We would not be where we are today as health centers without advocacy from you. Yet, there are many challenges that lay ahead for the health center program that will require even more grassroots advocacy from all of our supporters. We cannot meet these challenges without your help. That is why we need you and many others to register as health center advocates.
PACHC is committed to providing you with the tools needed to be a successful advocate. By registering as a health center advocate with PACHC, you will be able to:
- Get updates on federal and state government action related to health centers.
- Send messages to your elected officials with the touch of a button.
- MAKE YOUR INDIVIDUAL VOICE HEARD AND AMPLIFY IT THROUGH THE COLLECTIVE VOICE OF HEALTH CENTER ADVOCATES!
